The Gulf of Mexico's white sand beaches are just a one-minute walk (approximately 300 feet) from your door. You can see the water from the property and hear the waves at night.

How do I book a stay at Snyder's Rest?

All reservations are handled through our rental management company via Airbnb. You can book directly through the Airbnb links on our website for Apartment A, Apartment B, or Apartment C. This ensures secure payment processing and booking protection.

What is the minimum stay requirement?

Minimum stay requirements vary by season and are set through our Airbnb listings. Typically, we require a 3-7 night minimum stay. Check the specific apartment's Airbnb listing for current requirements.

Can I rent all three apartments for a family reunion or group event?

Absolutely! Renting all three units is perfect for family reunions, destination weddings, or group getaways. You can accommodate up to 15 guests total. Book each apartment separately through our Airbnb links to secure all three units for your dates.

What is your cancellation policy?

What's the difference between the three apartments?

Apartments A and B are both one-bedroom units that sleep up to 4 guests each (one queen bed plus a sofa bed). Apartment C is our larger two-bedroom unit that sleeps up to 7 guests with multiple beds and two full bathrooms. All units feature full kitchens, WiFi, air conditioning, and free parking.

Are the apartments pet-friendly?

Yes! All three apartments at Snyder's Rest welcome your furry family members. We know vacation isn't complete without your pets. Please review any pet fees or policies on the Airbnb listing when booking.

Apartments A and B share access to an on-site washer and dryer room on the property. What are the check-in and check-out times?

Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM. This allows our cleaning team to properly prepare your apartment. Early check-in or late check-out may be available - contact the rental management company through Airbnb to inquire.

How does check-in work?

Check-in details, including lockbox codes or key pickup instructions, will be provided by the rental management company prior to your arrival. The process is simple and straightforward so you can start relaxing immediately.

Where do I park?

Each apartment includes one free parking space on the property. Additional parking may be available on nearby streets. The property is also within walking distance of most attractions, and the free island trolley stops at Bridge Street.

How far is Bridge Street from Snyder's Rest?

Bridge Street is a 5-10 minute walk (approximately 0.3 miles) from the property. This popular shopping and dining area features restaurants, bars, boutiques, galleries, and ice cream shops.

Can I walk to restaurants and shops?

Yes! Holmes Beach's Bridge Street area is an easy walk from Snyder's Rest. You'll find dozens of restaurants, cafes, shops, and galleries within walking distance. Many guests leave their car parked for their entire stay.

How do I get around Anna Maria Island?

The free Anna Maria Island Trolley runs daily and stops at Bridge Street, just a short walk away. Many visitors also rent bikes or golf carts to explore the island. Everything on the 7-mile island is easily accessible. Uber and Lyft also operate on the island.

Is smoking allowed?

Snyder's Rest is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside any of the apartments. Guests may smoke outside in designated areas.

Can I host parties or events?

Snyder's Rest is a residential vacation rental property. Quiet hours are observed, and we ask guests to be respectful of neighbors. Large parties or events are not permitted. Family gatherings and celebrations are welcome as long as they comply with occupancy limits and noise policies.

What is the maximum occupancy?

Apartment A: 4 guests
Apartment B: 4 guests
Apartment C: 7 guests

All three apartments together: 15 guests maximum

Occupancy limits are strictly enforced for safety and insurance purposes.

What is your damage policy?

Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. Please report any accidents or damage to the rental management company immediately. Airbnb's Host Damage Protection may apply to your reservation.

Are there grocery stores nearby?

Yes! Publix is located about 2 miles away on Cortez Road. There's also a smaller Island Discount Grocery on Anna Maria Island. Several restaurants offer takeout and delivery to Snyder's Rest.

Is there air conditioning?

Yes, all three apartments have central air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort.

What should I bring?

We provide linens, towels, and basic toiletries. We recommend bringing:

What's the weather like in winter?

Is it too hot in summer?
